Because thoughts are so quick, they take shortcuts and can lead you to wrong interpretations or conclusions about something. So Thinking Traps are common mistakes that our minds make when we are thinking fast.
The goal of this activity is to examine your thoughts and decide if you can detect any of these Thinking Traps. For example, if you believe your mind is engaging in all-or-none thinking, you would move the slider to “detected” for this type of Thinking Trap. If you do not believe you are engaging in all-or-none thinking, you move the slider to “not detected”.
